Since 2002 Manufaktura has been involved in many community and charity actions. Most of the CSR programmes are focused on the poorest district of Łódź – Bałuty, Manufactura’s direct neighbour.

Manufaktura supports the Community Centre of Mother Teresa, an institution of educational aid that helps the poorest families of the Bałuty district.


Manufaktura is also involved in the organization of free movie shows for children from the Community Centre every year during the summer holidays, and the “Manufaktura beach” is one of the prime features of local life during the vacation period.

In 2005, the “Wings” programme was launched providing annual assistance for children from the poorest families attending the primary school on Ogrodowa street.
We are presently working on another long-term CSR programme focused on education for local school children, which will be launched in autumn 2007.

One of the most essential of Manufaktura’s CSR campaigns in a city and country of high unemployment: a free database of employee profiles made available to employers. The campaign is extremely successful – over 16 000 resumes are available on-line, and hundreds of people have found jobs in Manufaktura.
