“Friends
of the Nowy Play in the Streets” Summer Street
Theatres Festival.
While preparing the programme of the “Friends of
the Nowy Play in the Streets” summer festival,
the Nowy Theatre decided to invite fewer
performances but only the most outstanding ones
by the best authors of established position.
The performances are absolutely free so they are
going to be widely available for the citizens of
our city and for tourists visiting Łódź.
The 8th Day Theatre, the Travel Agency Theatre
and the CHOREA Theatre have been the best,
world-known groups presenting street
performances for years. The plays are really
spectacular. Their specific feature is the deep
intellectual content. All this makes their
performances different from circus-like shows
characteristic of the majority of street
theatres. The performances we are inviting to
see, have not been presented in Łódź yet.

Summer Theatre
Scene in Manufaktura
Theatre summer in Manufaktura
Plays, tales and activities for the youngest
amateurs of art! Manufaktura invites all
children to the Summer Theatre Scene.
July and August will become truly artistic
months. Each Sunday, until the end of vacation,
the kids will be able to see plays, listen to
tales read by actors and take part in theater
activities, during which they will learn, among
other things, how to recite text. The Summer
Theatre Scene will be active during the entire
vacation, between 4.00-6.00 PM.

During all vacation Saturdays and Sundays,
between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM, the kids can play
