Welcome to the Manufaktura Aquarium

We have a collection of 32 aquaria containing from 100 to 1500 litres of water. Each of them presents a different water biotope. They are representative for various places in the world. Visitors are presented natural, underwater habitats and creatures living there. You move gradually from Poland via Africa, South America, Asia to Oceania.
Among the most interesting habitats presented in our aquarium you will find flooded Amazon rain forest with a huge school of cardinal tetra, the lakes of the African Great Rift Valley and the Orinoco pool penetrated by bloodthirsty piranhas.
In the aquaria nearly 100 species of water plants grow, even so unique ones like the Madagascar lace leaf. It is called so because the leaves of this plant are similar to a net. It is the result of the leaf blade reduction.
Our aquaria are inhabited by many species e.g.: lionfish, murrain, rays, transparent glass fish and also Polish fish of prey like European catfish and pike.
The biggest diversity of water animals is on display in 2,5m reef aquarium. Here, apart from various species of fish you can also see shellfish and echinoderm.

When you get tired of walking around, you may enjoy a cup of coffee being surrounded by water landscapes.



Elektrownia RP Club welcomes!

A disco located in postindustrial buildings is surrounded with magic of old times, refreshed while setting up Manufaktura. The atmosphere of vicinity explodes inside the club with sound, light and outstanding emotions.

Elektrownia RP is not only a music , but mainly a place where a discharge of emotions can be done in a best possible way - using the energy. That is whay you will find something more tha just a disco in here.

Everyone is invited. On each of 3 levels we have a uncanny atmosphere.

level 0 - music of the 80`s. If you miss that old days and love to have fun in that kind of rhythms it is the only place in Lodz where you can do it. It has been almost forgotten how much energy and sentiment this music had - it it high time to bring it back!

level 1 - commercial music - have fun with music you like and know well. You discharge your energy in a way you want. Take advantage of it.

level 2 - club music - VIP`s room. Be on the supreme level and have fun.

Elektrownia RP will be pleased to discharge 1000 people at one time! Nevertheless it guarantees many other attractions, best events in Lodz and new surprises for Visitors.

Experymentarium aims at introducing the young to the world of science by means of numbers of interactive and convincing exhibits. Experymentarium stands for an interactive museum of science and technology designed to serve not only children bu also teenagers and adults. You may not only here see the biggest soap bubble ever, but also make the first step in to the universe and manufacture the paper yourself.
 

Cinema City

Manufaktura has become home for a Cinema City. It is a Multiplex with 15 regular screens and one IMAX Theater. Visitors will be able to see the newest movie releases. A wide range of presented movies will allow everyone to choose something to their own taste.

The biggest attraction prepared by Manufaktura for visitors is factory’s Market Place. Many bars, pubs, and restaurants are located there. It’s a place where life music concerts and numerous parties are going to be held during worm summer nights.

We would like to invite you to try the only in the region of Łódź big, widely available artificial climbing wall (the height – 10,30 m ).

The climbing centre provides: about 500m2 of climbing surface and over 1300 handholds. They give the possibility of 100 combinations of climbing routes!!! , 40 stands make it possible for 80 people to practise climbing at the same time!!!
